Men's and Women's Open Divisions

These are player driven tournaments. Take some responsibility on your own shoulders to ensure the success of the double elimination format.

We have a structured system covering the player's responsibilities including: game times, warm-ups, court assignments, and referees. We don't want to have to enforce penalty points, but if you are assigned to be the referee for a match and leave, you will pay double to play in the next tournament.

The tournament will only be as good or efficient as you make it. We thank you for your efforts and are always looking for your input. If necessary, play will extend into Sunday.

AAA divisions must have a minimum of 8 teams to be eligible for prize money.

Score Sheets

Athletes are asked to referee games/matches when they are not assigned to play. Accurately complete a score sheet for each match. Bring the score sheet to the registration table following each game/match to ensure progress of the tournament. Ideally brackets will be finishing at similar times so athletes aren't waiting long periods for other pools to finish. Accurate score sheets will help ensure the efficient and correct championship bracket seedings.

Winning a Division

If you win two tournaments you MUST move up a division. This rule will be strictly enforced. Thus, if you are playing in BB and win for the second time you must move up to A for the remainder of the season, and if you win twice in A then you would move up to AA and so on.

If you a playing with a partner who has not won at the lower division and you have already won twice, you must play in the higher division, no exceptions!
